Well done to everyone for working so hard throughout the year!

Plastic Free Day

8th May 2019

A committed group of Year 6 eco-activists produced and conducted an assembly inspired by Sir David Attenborough's fight against plastic pollution. The assembly consisted of pictures, that the children had found, of how badly polluted areas can be by plastic. They encouraged the audience (ranging from Year 3 to Year 6) to use non-polluting materials as part of their everyday routine.
It wasn't only Year 6 highlighting this important problem, Zac in Year 4 produced a wonderful poster about why we should use less plastic.
The group of year 6s consisted of Chester, Ryan, Evie, Matilda, Grace, Daisy, Charlotte and Georgina who were determined to teach the children a precious lesson which can save the world.
