From Monday 2nd November we are introducing a one-way system around the school site. This is to support social distancing and ease congestion at the beginning and end of the day. Thurs 5th - Bonfire lunch. Fri 6th - individual photos. Take a look at our class pages as well as our special projects section using the square button below. Please see our COVID-19 pupil absence guide for parents and staff- available in the 'links and downloads' section below.

School Council

Each class in the school (from Year 1 - 6) vote for the school councillor for their class. This child represents the views and opinions of their class in school council meetings.  These meetings are held regularly with the Head of School and allow children to make suggestions for how to improve the school for its children.

We also have regular school council meetings that consist, not of a small group of councillors, but the whole key stage. We believe this gives everyone the chance to input their ideas and discuss important topics. Slips for suggestions can be obtained in classrooms and will be collected prior to meetings. These slips form the basis of what will be discussed in the meeting.
Year 6 have the opportunity to visit County Hall in the Spring Term to find out about local government and the democratic process.
