Forest School

28th September 2020

Year 3 had a brilliant time at Forest School earlier this week! We have been learning about Stone Age cave art, so we decided to make our own from natural resources. We collected various flowers, plants, and berries to extract colour from. We mixed our resources with hot water and added flour to make our paints. This was extremely hard work; we can't imagine what it must have been like for Stone Age people! We then produced our own pieces of artwork inspired by the cave paintings we have researched. Following this, we also created a class mural - it was very messy but lots of fun!
