We embed understanding careers within our curriculum, aiming to raise aspirations and embed skills for life, as well as a knowledge of possible career choices, routes into these and a whole host of career encounters, including 'Future Fridays' where children will meet employees and employers from a wide range of industries.
Children have already begun to investigate genders within various careers and challenge the stereotypes that exist in some careers - but there is a lot more to come!
We will be looking for any parent volunteers, who would be willing to give some time to share with children your world of work, how you got there, what your career entails and what curriculum skills children should work on to follow in your footsteps.
We want to inspire children to be the best they can be and begin to think about their passions and interests early! So, what could you offer?
