Welcome to Indian Queens Nursery, Indian Queens, Cornwall

Indian Queens Nursery is proud to serve the village of Indian Queens and its surrounding communities including Fraddon, Columb Road, Penhale, White Cross, Trevarren, Black Cross and Ruthvoes.  Our nursery motto is "Nurturing A Love For Learning That Will Last A Lifetime".

Specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years, the nursery forms an integral part of the Early Years Foundation Stage of the school and close links exist between the nursery and reception classes, enabling the children to become familiar with the school environment.  We take pride in offering a comprehensive and ambitious curriculum that supports your child to reach their full potential and flourish as confident learners so they are 'ready', when the transition from the nursery to school takes place.
 
The children enjoy using the school's facilities, including the sports field, fully equipped sports hall and second school hall, for drama, play and music, and the well-stocked library. The school grounds, in addition to the nursery environment, offer many other safe and secure opportunities to explore and play. We also offer Forest Friday sessions every Friday afternoon.
 
The nursery is led by a very experienced and fully qualified teacher, assisted by a dedicated, stable, well qualified and experienced team of staff. Staff work closely with parents and carers to ensure that each child's experience of nursery is planned and delivered to meet their child's individual needs. Knowing each child well is a priority, so that their interests are valued and built on and their achievements celebrated.

Flexible Nursery Sessions 

 To suit your family's needs, we offer various session types at Indian Queens Nursery:

  • Morning sessions 5 days a week: 8.45am-11.45am
  • Afternoon sessions: 5 days a week: 12.15pm-3.15pm
  • All-day session: 5 full days: 8:45 am-2:45 pm with an option to extend the day until 3:15 pm at an additional charge
