Year 4 enjoyed using practical resources to improve their understanding of place value in 4-digit numbers.

Following a horrendous hurricane that brought destruction, Year 6 designed and built shelters that would provide respite from the rain and a place to sleep. Luckily, no one got wet in the final tests!

Today Micmac (Year 3) have had their Wow Day for their Stone Age topic. They built camps in the forest and created their own Stone Age paint using natural resources!

Children in Year 5 have been getting creative today for their wow day. They have drawn Egyptian Gods and written their own names in hieroglyphics.

Year 2 have been learning about how Muslims pray, where they go to worship, how they show respect to Allah and about the holy book of Islam, the Qur’an.

Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed their Wow Day. They made their own paints using natural materials, took part in some cave painting and even made their own Stone Age houses!

Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed a Teddy Bears' picnic this afternoon. They danced with the bears and ate watermelon teddy bear shapes. They also talked with their friends and told them all about a memorable event as part of their history topic 'Now and Then'.

Yakama (Year 3) enjoyed launching their new science topic about light. They sorted different light sources and then used 'feely bags' to try and guess the objects inside. They realised life today would be hard without any light sources!
