During today's 'Movement Monday' sessions children were busy using their gross motor skills to build water runs, balance beams and we even designed our very own car using crates! It was great fun problem-solving and working together!

These girls in Micmac have been very busy over the weekend. One has made her own Stone Age shoebox and painting on a stone. Another has been thinking of questions she would like to ask someone from the Stone Age.

Year 5 have been exploring vector drawings in computing lessons this week. Using the shapes and lines tools, copy, paste, resize and rotate, children have begun to draw more complex designs. Well done everyone!

In Science, Year 3 have been investigating different materials to see if they are reflective.

Nursery have been making rainbow fish using playdough. We have read the story and learnt that it’s good to share as it makes everyone happy. We used rolling pins to flatten the dough and a fish cutter before adding sparkly scales. ‘He shares all the sparkles’.

Year 2 have been improving their batting and fielding skills in lessons with their cricket coach.

Today Year 3 enjoyed experimenting with light. They created reflection testers to help them see which materials are reflective and which are not. They enjoyed testing out materials around the classroom.
