Pond Area Development

A huge thank you to Darren Langford for clearing overgrown bramble bushes from our pond area yesterday. Thanks also to CBRE for letting him come in. The children will have a whole new area to use thanks to all the hard work of the volunteers including Claire Brewer and Rohan and Ruby. The area can now be used as a sustainable nature resource and learning environment. It is very much appreciated when the local community volunteer to assist the school. We even rescued hundreds of balls too!
Thanks to all out wonderful volunteers (Emma, Victoria, Dilan, Rohan, Harmony and Corenza) who came in to clear and tidy the pond area - it was very much appreciated and will make a huge difference for all the children. After a hard week's work, it was great to see how large the area actually is and we even found the old pond liner! The school really appreciates this great help and support from the community.
Well done to Merlin the dog who has found a huge number of lost balls during the clearing out of the pond area and trimming of hedges. Here he is with just one day's worth of finds!
