Discovering 42

Discovering 42 is a new science museum in Bodmin. Y6 had the chance to explore the interactive displays, make a water powered computer and visit the Shire Hall to learn about Crime and Punishment in the past.
In the Shire Hall we learnt about the tragic case of Charlotte Dymond and Matthew Weekes. We looked at the evidence and discussed our ideas. We visited the holding cells and thought about the kinds of punishment dealt out in the past.
In Discovering 42, we could investigate a range of hands-on demonstrations which utilised scientific laws - it was lots of fun.
Roy showed us how to make a binary water computer which links to our learning about computer development.
